None of us wakes up thinking they’ll get a flat tire and buy a new tire before the end of the day. There are many ways a tire can go bad—a faulty stem, a puncture from something like a screw or nail, even a small hole from running over a curb—can flatten your tire. Tire repair is not recommended if the hole is too big or if it’s in the tire’s shoulder or sidewall.
